Many of Mary’s short stories and her historical fiction are appropriate for teenagers. Students can listen to Mary read a passage and discuss contemporary themes, storytelling techniques, and historical events.  

The children’s picture books are great for elementary kids with their bright colored illustrations, tropical and ocean animal protagonists and narrative in English and Spanish.
